Jennifer LeBlanc Hemond – Paralegal

Jennifer was born in Palo Alto, California and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology in 1988 from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She earned her paralegal certification from the University of Santa Clara Institute of Paralegal Education in 1989.

After beginning her paralegal career in Santa Cruz and San Jose, California, Jennifer relocated to Montrose, Colorado in 1990 and commenced working at the law firm of Mathis & Masters, P.C. She joined Mr. Masters at his solo practice and has now been working with Mr. Masters for more than 22 years.

Jennifer is a former member of the Paralegal Association of Santa Clara County (PASCCO) and upon moving to Western Colorado she sought a similar association to join. Finding none, she was instrumental in the formation of Legal Assistants of the Western Slope (LAWS) in 1995 as a NALA affiliate.  LAWS continues to provide networking opportunities and continuing legal education for Western Slope area paralegals.

Jennifer has been a presenter of the Paperless Office for Paralegals for the Colorado Bar Association CLE program as well as a contributor to the Guidelines for the Utilization of Paralegals approved by the CBA Board of Governors.
